These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the MochiMeter website (the "Website") and mobile application (the "App") (together, the "Services"). The Services are provided by MochiMeter ("MochiMeter", "we", "our", or "us").

2. Eligibility & Account Security

• Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority, you must have parental or guardian consent.
• Account Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscription, Billing, and Trials

MochiMeter may offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases:

• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Management: Purchases made through Apple are managed and cancelled via your Apple ID settings.
• Refunds: Refund requests for Apple-processed purchases are handled directly by Apple under their specific policies.
• Pricing: We reserve the right to change pricing; changes will be communicated as required by law and platform rules.

4. User Content and Data

• Your Rights: You retain all rights to the information you upload (food logs, goals, photos).
• Our Licence: You grant MochiMeter a limited, worldwide licence to host, store, and process your content solely to provide and maintain the Services (e.g., syncing data across devices).
• Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share the content you provide.

5. AI Features & No Medical Advice

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

• AI Estimates: The Services use AI to estimate nutritional content. These are predictions and may be inaccurate or incorrect.
• Not Medical Advice: MochiMeter provides general wellness information only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• Consult Professionals: Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional regarding dietary needs, allergies, or medical conditions.
• Allergy Safety: You are solely responsible for verifying ingredients and nutrition information before consumption.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any laws or regulations.
• Interfere with or disrupt the security of the Services.
• Reverse engineer the App or use automated scrapers/bots.
• Upload harmful content, malware, or infringing materials.

7. Intellectual Property & Third Parties

• Ownership: All software, design, and trademarks are owned by MochiMeter or its licensors.
• Licence: We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Services for non-commercial purposes.
• Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for the content or practices of integrated services like Supabase, OpenFoodFacts, or Apple HealthKit.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• "As Is" Basis: To the extent permitted by law, Services are provided without warranties of any kind.
• Liability Cap: MochiMeter’s total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or AUD $100 if no payments were made.
• Consumer Rights: Nothing in these terms excludes rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Termination and Changes

• Changes: We may update these Terms by posting the new version and updating the "Last Updated" date.
• Termination: You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend access if you breach these Terms.
